Sixteen HD cameras drawing IR power at midnight is a serious electrical load — and the CP Plus CP-DPS-MD200P-12D is built exactly for it: 12V at a full 20A (240W rated) from a heavy metal chassis engineered for quick, uniform heat dissipation under continuous load.
Its standout feature is the adjustable output — 11.4V to 13.2V via the regulator switch: crank it up slightly to offset voltage drop on long cable runs so the farthest camera gets true 12V at its terminals. Ultra-low 100mV ripple keeps video clean, the 190–250VAC wide input absorbs grid swings, and overload/over-voltage/short-circuit protection shuts down safely and recovers on re-power.
🎛️ The 13.2V Trick
A 90m cable run can lose 1–2V — enough to dim IR and reboot cameras. Set the output slightly higher and the far end receives clean 12V. Installers love this dial.
📉 100mV Ripple = Clean Video
Rolling lines and shimmer on analog video are usually power ripple. This unit’s 100mVp-p output is broadcast-clean.
